Lenox Pere Noel Porcelain Sculpture - Striking French Santa

"Père Noël" was the 1992 issue in Lenox's beloved International Santas collection. It portrays the French Santa wearing the traditional wooden shoes of the countryside and carrying a sack of toys, with his "naughty and nice" list clutched in one hand. Made of fine porcelain bisque to show crisp detail, from the waves in his flowing white beard to the gathers on his striped sleeves. Hand painted in rich rose and gold with 24-karat gold accents. Expert modelling and coloring enhance the sumptiousness of his costume and the sense of movement as Père Noël strides joyfully into the holiday season. In original box. A stunning addition to any Santa collection and an eye-catching holiday display.Never displayed, mint condition.
